I am down 48 pounds since surgery! Whoo hoo!!
I am finally starting to get energy back. I am seven weeks out.
I still have the g-tube. That comes out later thismonth and I can't wait!

I found out, the hard way, that I can't eat ground turkey right now. It makes my right side hurt. I woke up in extreme pain at 4am the day before Thanksgiving. When I was still in pain at 1230 and I couldn't get in touch with my surgeon, I went to the ER. After 8 hours, and being poked 10 times to draw blood and start an IV, they decided nothing was wrong. I was given pain meds and sent home.
 Then, I got the same pain yesterday. So I looked at my food journal. The only thing in common was ground turkey. This time though, it didn't hurt as bad so I waited it out. Tylenol doesn't touch the pain.
 Other than that I am doing great! I am so excited to see the "new" me emerging.
