4 days left to my new (almost) reality

Met with Dr. Gersin yesterday for my last pre-op appt. I've had 2 interactins w/Gersin n both times I've been I guess lacking n his eyes. See Im lucky enuff to not have any health issues not/associated with being overweight and I've pretty much been looking into this surgery wit my family for the past yrs so I dont have questions or concerns and dont require anything special just for him to show up and do what it is he is supposed to do. I read the paperwork they provide, follow their guidelines and even pre-pay. That said, he always seem to leave looking dissappointed.

Anyways, I start my 2-wk diet Tuesday and am still trying to decide if I want to have a "food" day. I've accepted that the rest of my life will be different and my eating habits will have to change for good but a possibly childish part of me wants to have a few of my old favorites that I've given up the past couple of months.

Lastly, outside of my family and an x-boyfriend that I'v remained close to, no one in NY knows about the surgery. I'll be there in Aug, possibly even June and what do I say?
