How can they say that!

Just had to post this.  I was wondering if any of you ever got this comment from someone:

Why did you have surgery? Why didn't you just eat well and exercise?

Are they kidding?  Boy, does that make me angry!  Do they really think that if I did not have to go under the knife
I would do this to myself?

I know I should chuck it up people being  ignorant but it  is still so aggravating to someone like me that  have been
dieting since I was eight years old and have tried millions of diet, lost  at least a thousand pounds during my life tine
but was never able to keep it off.  I wish there was a way to make these people feel what we have felt when we were
our largest.  I guess we have to just smile and say maybe you don't know the half of it.
