Hello Tom,my name is Alex,I recently had surgery with Dr Marymor July 17th.I read about you and I admired your positive actitude against your problems and your great disposition to support others. I also have a rough time and many things happened that weren't expected but as you said in some comments I read,you go into this knowing the risk and hopimg the best trusting the people that will get you through.I ve spend 20 days between Barix,St Marys and also G'town University Hospital in DC. >But I can say I am a new and better person after this ordeal and every day i feel stronger and closer to my goal. I went into surgery with 496lb,six weeks later I am 60 down and I love life.I am looking forward to meet you in person in one of the support meetings and congratulations on your progress

Hi Tom!!!!! It's been awhile since I've been active in the boards - I just have so much going on in my personal life right now especially since I've been working at Bally Total Fitness in KOP as a personal trainer... I soooooo hope this finds you well and look forward to meeting you at an upcoming meeting! Is the Weds night Barix meeting at Barix near the mall? If so, I hope to attend this Weds with Ann Marie G. and can't wait to meet you in person!!!! Hugs :) Caroline

Tom, you are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time. You mean so much to so many of us and we're all pulling for you to have a complete recovery and to get home soon. You have given every one of us your complete support and I hope you know how much it has meant to all of us and how much we can't wait to have you back here posting that support and all your words of wisdom. Hi Tom!!!! Just wanted to check in on you and wave a big hello your way!!!! You are doing WONDERFUL!!!!!! Hope that we'll get to meet each other sometime soon! I am looking to get a trip going out the the NJ shore/beach sometime in August as well as a trip going to Hershey Park the first or second weekend in Sept.
