I also got an email from Queen today. She said she is home now, still in some pain but is walking and taking her meds. She is on liquids. She wanted everyone to know she is doing well.

Hi Kisha, I am sending you a big HUG! I understand your fear, I am waiting for my surgery and I to am excited and afraid. I lost my Mother as a little girl and I have a little girl the same age as I was, I don't want her to go through what I did. These are things we have no control over though and all we can do is our best for ourselves and our families. We have made the best and only choice for ourselves, so we now have to leave it in God's hands to take care of us and our families. You will make it to the other side and when you do and I have my surgery date and I am feeling as frightened as you do now, I expect to hear from you with a pep talk for me. I will keep you in my prays. God Bless

Hi Queen: Hang in there! Feeling like something bad will happen is so normal. Subjecting youself to surgery is not an every day decision. Please, trust in God and your surgeon. I'll be praying for you tomorrow. I wish I was closer so that I could come and hold your hand, but I guess we'll just have to settle for a cyberhug! Take care, and we'll see you on the Other Side!
