Hi Amy, I am enthused about the lap band, and I don't think insurance will pay for my surgery - I am 5 foot 3.25 inches tall, 210 pounds, and very good health - just a little wear and tear on one knee, not debilitating. How good was your care in Mexico? Do you speak Spanish (I don't)? Would communication be a problem if I went to the same hospital and surgeon you did? Thanks for your help, Susan
