Michele: Fight that insurance company to the hilt. I've heard that there are law firms that specialize in this stuff (obesitylaw.com). From the little legal background I do have, verbal contracts are legally binding. And, you made a series of decisions based on the information you were provided by the experts. Personally, I think you have a strong case for breach of verbal contract. In the meantime, I would persue every options for appeal avaliable. Best wishes, I'll hold you in my prayers.

Michele, Honey, you have cabin fever! You sound like the on-the-go type and a little too much quiet time to handle right now. Depression is probably part of it, but it sounds like you have a healthy mind and a healing body. Is there something you can do like a craft that you haven't had time for? Something I had in mind was either needlepoint, painting, something you could look back on later and say "this was how I made it through my post op time." One great idea (I think) would be to organize your photo albums - I don't know many people who have these in good order. You could take up scrapbooking - you can have a friend get you some supplies, or you can even order it online. Another idea would be to volunteer for this website - seems like they could use plenty of volunteer help. Give your mind something to do honey, 'cause you definitely will need to direct all that energy in a healthy way. God bless you!
