Hi - Bernadette is out of surgery and is doing great! The surgeon said that she got throught the whole thing with flying colors. She is expected to be out of recovery around noon and will be resting for the rest of the day. Welcome to the other side Bern! Kasey

My prayers will be with you as you go through the surgery and recovery. May your strength be restored; your recovery be swift and your tender heart be renewed.

Hi Bernadette, I'd say don't be nervous but, heck, I was nervous. Of course it was all for nothing (except I burned a few more calories) because my surgery went fine. I always say the week before surgery was harder than the week after. Nerves can do that to you. Keep it postive. That means only positive people around you. The negative ones are just ill-informed. I hope all your health and weight-loss dreams come true. All the best,

Hi Bern, You are less than two weeks away I couldn't be more excited for you. It seems like a life time ago that I was thinking of doing this surgery and thought everyone will think I am crazy. Until one day we met at McDonalds and you were so positive about the whole thing. I don't know if you realize how big a part you played in my decision to do this surgery. Thanks to you I am a loser! Now you are less than two weeks away from starting you're new life. I am so excited to continue this journey with my side kick! HA Serious, I am so proud of how hard you have worked to get yourself ready for this journey. You know I will be there when you need me! I sure love you and I pray for a very uneventful surgery! Love, Kasey
