Hi Kim, I read your post on the message board regarding your gastric bypass. I had one done in 1972. I didn't think they did them any longer. You will evenually feel ok but, it takes a long time. I was in the hospital for 3 months after surgery. I lost 200 pounds in about 9 months. It was awful I vomited up everything. The gas and diaherria(sp?) were awful. I'm sure they have better ways to do these today I was one of the first people to ever have one. Well, the good news is i survived got married and had 2 kids. Being pregnant was a little dicey because of electolytes and stuff. I kept the weight off for 10 years and then started to gain a little back. To this day I have the gas and diaherria. It really makes it hard to work. But I know what makes me go and what does not. so i've lived with it ok. I really gained weight last year when I stopped smoking. 100 pounds at least. Don't worry you'll be fine and it will be worth it eventually.
