Janet is home and doing well (or she is faking it awful well.) She came home on Thursday. She sounded so good when I talked to her. You would never know by talking to her that she had this surgery. Said she took a walk around the block when she got home from the hospital! I can't believe how well things are going for her. I am so excited for her. She is truly a wonderful person and if anyone deserves this new life....it would be her. Please continue to keep her in your prayers through her recovery and through her journey.

Didn't have a chance to speak with Janet or her husband today. I worked late and with an eighty six mile drive....I didn't get home until 8:45. Was afraid she may be asleep, so I didn't call. I will check on her tomorrow. I do know that she was going to be able to try boost today...hopefully all went well. Please continue to keep Janet and her family in your prayers.

Just got off the phone with Janet! I am amazed at how good she sounds. I asked her was the surgery as painful as we thought and she said "OH YEAH," but she said she just tries to keep remembering why she had it done. She had her barium swallow today and all is well. She can now have water (yummy), but she said she wasn't hungry and she said the DR said if all goes well...she may be able to have boost tomorrow. I am so excited you would think I was the one that had surgery!!! Please continue to keep her in your prayers.
