Hello Kristen - <b>Congratulations</b> on your upcoming surgery!   You'll find the changes that follow, nothing short of a miracle. My humble advice?  Walk as much as possible after surgery.  As your body begins to heal make sure to get in your protein, even if it means plugging your nose and chugging back the protein drinks in baby [pouch] gulps.  Vitamins need to be chopped, minced or crushed... whatever it takes to get them in daily, no exceptions, YOU are worth it.   Also, let's not forget your new best(est) friend, water.  It is SO important to get your minimum 64 oz in daily. One final thing, remember to <b>CELEBRATE</b> all the special moments along the way, big or small.  Too many people focus only on the number, ie. pounds lost.  There are so many "moments" to look forward to and embrace, don't let any of them slip by.   Enjoy your new healthier life because you've more then earned it!!   <i>"The key to happiness is dreams, the key to success is making those dreams come true"</i>  Hugs & Smiles -

HI KRISTEN, MAY GOD RICHLY BLESS YOU DURING YOUR SURGERY AND DURING YOUR RECOVERY. I WILL BE PRAYING FOR YOU. IF YOU NEED TO TALK, VENT, OR IF YOU NEED SOMEONE TO CRY WITH YOU I AM HERE. I HAD THE SURGERY 6 MONTHS AGO AND HAVE LOST 160 LBS SO FAR AND I DO KNOW ALL ABOUT THE PROCESS OF RECOVERY AND LEARNING TO EAT ALL OVER AGAIN. MAKE SURE TO EAT ENOUGH PROTEIN AND DRINK PLENTY OF FLUIDS. MAY THE GREAT GOD OF GLORY TOUCH AND KEEP YOU, IN HIS SERVICE, LINDA

Best wishes to you for an uneventful surgery and a recovery thats as quick and painfree as possible. This quote is from a book my grandmother gave me before she passed away. It was one of her favorites.(Kahlil Gibran) "But if in your thought you must measure time into seasons, let each season encircle all the other seasons, and let today embrace the past with remembrance and the future with longing"
