Mary called me tonight and she had her one week appointment today. She was a little "blue" because the scale only showed a 5lb loss but as I told her you gain so much from the IV the 1 week check up is not an accurate measure. She has had to stay in a motel close to the Dr because of the distance she lives from them but gets to return home tomorrow. WELCOME HOME MARY, can't wait to see you posting again. You are in my thoughts and prayers and I have enjoyed meeting you and Bill you two are fantastic people in my book. Good Luck and God Bless you both. Stay in touch. ^j^

I just spoke with our Mary and she is doing great. She sounds SO GOOD. she wanted me to pass on to all her internet buddies that "a positive attitude and walking is the key in her mind to getting better quicker" She may be released today but had a bought of diarrhea and the Dr is wanting to make sure that is OK before he releases her. They will be staying near the hospital because she lives 3 hours from there until her first appointment. She said to let you all know NO news will be good news she will not have access to a computer but as soon as she gets home will post. She says she feels good and does not for a moment regret her decision. Her hubby BILL has been right there with her and she knows what a blessing that has been. She was a little Blue yesterday due to the tummy ache but is much better today. Please stop in and wish her the very best. Mary YOU ARE A REAL INSPIRATION AND A GREAT LADY AND I AM THANKFUL I MET YOU. KEEP YOUR CHIN UP AND YOU WILL DO JUST FINE. YOU WILL REMAIN IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS LADYBUG!!! ^j^

Mary - This one is for you! ----- As You Recover... Rely on God's Love My heart goes out to you today. I am so sorry for what you are having to go through. More than anything, I wish I could make things easier for you. I do pray continuously for God to give you strength, and I know that in time He will. In the meantime, remember that I am here for you; even more importantly, God is, too. Rely on God's love, and know that He will never leave you or ignore your needs. In our weakness, God's strength can become our strength, when we lean upon the promises of His healing touch.

I just got off the phone with Mary and she sounds WONDERFUL she just got out of the shower and had her dressing change. She walked 2 times yesterday and has been out once today. She sounded really upbeat and strong and I have all the faith in the world in her she is going to do just fine. Thank you all for your post, your prayers and well wishes i know she will appreciate them all. I will check in on her tomorrow. ^j^
