Welcome Home Pat! *HUGS* So glad to hear you're doing so well. Was great talking to you on the phone the other day. Am glad I could help distract them redoing that IV of yours. As we talked on the phone, the name of the protein drink from GNC is Ultra Pure Protein Shake. It has 35 grams of protein, only 6 grams of carbs and low fat per 12 oz can. Comes in Chocolate, Strawberry, Vanilla and Capucchino. Look forward to hearing from you. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. *HUGS*

Welcome home Pat!!! Thinking skinny thoughts of you. I think it is normal to feel full after drinking things at first if i remember right that is the way I was. It should pass by next week and you will be able to drink more. Take care and welcome to the other side. Glad you enjoyed the flowers.

Just came from the hospital visiting Pat she is doing great and looks as though she will get to go home tomorrow. My first time to meet her even though we have talked numerous times. She is as exceptional in person, as she appeared online and on the phone. Truly a happy camper and a wonderful person. Welcome to the other side Pat we are all here for you and your new journey with life.

I just got off the phone with Pat she said they took her NG tube out today. She is still in the semi-private room. She said her IV started leaking and she had to go without pain medication for some time which caused some unnecessary pain. Otherwise she is doing wonderful up and walking. I will go visit tomorrow and update more. If you have the time go to her site and welcome her to the other side. Way to go Pat.

Hey all WLS friends I went and seen Pat at the hospital she was sleeping so I didnt bother her. The nurse said she was doing fine. She is in a room with someone else and that person was eating Hopefully they will get her a private room fast that would be terrible to have to watch someone eat when you can not even have water. Plus i think the smell of food those first few days made me sick. Ill keep all updated and check on her through out the weekend. Welcome to the other side Pat. Good luck with your new life.

PRAISE THE LORD!!! I just spoke to Pat she just got into a room 30 minutes ago and is already taking calls. I cant believe it. She sounded great and said the surgeon told her everything went well. She said she felt sore but that is to be expected. I will go visit tonight and post again. Welcome to the other side Pat a new birthday to celebrate November 2nd. God bless you.
