Talked with Pat Cannon today, she is still in the hospital, but up and walking. She may get to come home tomorrow, all tubes and lines are out, except the IV. Of course, she is in pain, but she was expecting that. Hooray Pat....you made it to the losing side!!!

Angel reporting for Pat Cannon who had her surgery on Wed. Nov. 20. Her husband called me last night and said Pat had a few problems during surgery. It took much longer than expected, mainly it was due to previous surgeries. Lots of adhesions and scar tissue. Part of her lower bowel was removed, the doctor said it was more than he had anticipated. She is okay, going to be in the hospital longer than expected. Still has the tube in her nose, and she is not comfortable but has her morphine pump and some additional pain meds. She should be realesed sometime next week. Her husband said she is drifting in and out, mostly out. I am going to call her today, maybe she will be up to talking a little. Lets pray for Pat, she is on the other side now, but needs strength and support.
