YES IT IS NORMAL. I had mine done this past Monday and the Dr told me that they will be taken a biopsy. So put your mind to rest it is normal my friend. Hope I helped

Good Luck Robin on your surgery June 23rd. I know it seems like it is so far away. My date for surgery is June the 20th so I'll be joining the losing side with ya. Keep the faith and hopefully time will fly by for us. I'm addicted to this site too and read every post.
