Sorry about the previous message (or lack of), I didn't know how this worked. I'm glad you posted your experience. Please keep it up. I found it interesting and helpful and I wish you the very best. I'm in the insurance approval process and I also copied your story for a friend. She doesn't have the internet. Just a quick note re your "tummy tuck". I've been to some support group meetings and you should refer to this as "RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY." Take care, Kathy

Tamara, best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had mine last November, and I have never had a single regret. One thing that may help to remember is that the nervousness is over with when you wake up in the recovery room to your new life.

Hi, I just wanted to wish you lots of luck for your surgery! I am also scheduled for August 31, 2001!! So we will be going through this together! Looks like there are about 16 of us on teh 31st, so at least we will all know that we aren't alone that day! Not long and we will be on the other side!
