Chris is doing very well tonight after a rough couple of days. She had a reaction to the morphine and is now receiving a non-narcotic pain med. She passed her swallow test today and was up and walking several times today. I'm so proud of her! Please continue to keep her in your prayers.

Chris made it through surgery with flying colors. She was resting as comfortably as possible when I left her about 30 min. ago. However, that is about to change because they are going to get her up to walk! She's very groggy as is to be expected, but still has her sense of humor. Will probably know more tomorrow. Please keep her in your prayers.
