Hey Dee, Hope you are doing well. I just wanted to tell you that things get better. I had the surgery on July 9th, and I am feeling great. My wife had the surgery June 11th, she has had some problems but now she feels wonderful. Keep a positive outlook, things will get better. I will keep you in my thoughts. By for now. . . . Thomas

Dee, the first couple of weeks are the worst. You'll be surprised how quickly your body mends. Keep your chin up and take care of yourself. A little pamperin from those who love you won't hurt either :).

Dee, sorry you're feeling lousy. I'm telling you, it's Normal---but that doesn't help a whole lot when you hurt. Be good to yourself and listen to your body. It will let you know when you are ready to do more. Not everyone is gonna feel like dancing the first week! LOL!! I will keep thinking and praying for you. God Bless.

Dee, I am a graduate from BTC- IT WILL GET BETTER! Keep up on the pain meds and don't let the time lapse between doses. Take it one day at a time. I will be praying for you! E-mail me and let me know when you will be back to BTC and I will try and meet up with you. I am sorry I couldn't get up to see you in the hospital:( Hang in there- It DOES get better:)

I talked to Dee again on the phone today. The good news is she passed her leak test and is now sipping on juice. The bad news is the pain has been difficult to control and she is having some regrets because of this. She plans to be discharged tomorrow and she has a long drive home. Please, all you kind hearted members, would you stop by her surgery page and give her some encouragment? Thank you,
