Aimee, Congratulations on your surgery! I am glad it went well and I wish you good luck and good health with your recovery. The first 2 weeks are the toughest after an open but it will get a little better each day. Just take your pain med and get up and move around as much as you can tolerate. Welcome to the losing side! Talked to Aimee briefly. She says she's having alot of pain and some back pain and is hitting the morphine pump as much as she can. She sounded good, but a little weak which is to be expected. She's still tethered to her Foley and I.V., but was sitting up in the chair when I spoke with her. She'll be home probably on Tuesday.

Angel reporting~~Just talked to Aimee's husband Jon. She is still in recovery but should be going to her room soon. She got out of surgery at 3 p.m. They removed her gallbladder also. So far, so good! Way to go, Aimee! Kathy Berkey
