Michelle, Thanks for answering my post about negative people. I am having some issues with some people and I was just wondering where it will lead after my WLS. Thanks again for your input! You are an inspiration!!! Great photos on your profile. Smiles, Susan

Hi, Michelle! I saw your post about getting pregnant, and just wanted to post a supportive message. BTW, you look wonderful and your weight loss is superb. However, I think if I were in your shoes, I would try to get to my personal goal before getting pregnant. Then if you gain weight, which you probably should during pregnancy, you won't feel so bad, and it won't seem so hard to get it off after you have the baby. I don't know your age, but you look about 18!! I would wait a little while longer. Just my opinion. Best wishes to you whatever you decide to do!

Hi Michelle, Isn't that just maddening!!?!! I hear you on that Old Navy experience! Kids, and especially teens can be so COLD! At least my 14 year old daughter has an appreciation for weight control, after seeing what I've been through. I lecture her so much about eating right, etc., that I know she's sick of it; but she also knows about obesity hereditaryness, etc. She actually did her school project on my Gastric Bypass. It was kind of hard for me to annouce to all these teenagers what my weight was, and that it had come to that, but they also gained new respect for what I/we've gone through. Anyway, at least you didn't say anything; My loud mouth would have said something like, "Be careful who you laugh at, it could be YOU some day!" It wouldn't matter though, either kids have a heart, or they don't, and those didn't!
