I just got off the phone with Sharon and she is hanging in there. She had to have her gallbladder taken out as well as they had found stones in it. But she said overall she is very sore. I am leaving now to go and visit her and give her a hug from all of you. thanks Saphya

SHARON - Best of luck for your upcoming surgery. I had mine at Fair Oaks Hospital on 5/20, and I must say that I received 'excellent' care from the nursing staff there. (My physician was Dr. Anez, whom I found to be a very caring person, and his office staff are absolutely 'wonderful'.) Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. May the angels guide Dr. Roll's hands and watch over you and your family during your surgery and recovery. My friend, Sharon, is having WLS on October 22nd, less than a month away at Fair Oaks Hospital in Fairfax, VA. I'm so very proud of her! Please send her your prayers and best wishes! Woohoo Sharon!

Hi Sharon - you are in good hands with Dr. Roll. He did mine on 8/26/02 and I am doing well. The first few days are the hardest. BUT IT DOES GET BETTER. Get up and walk as soon as you can. I think that is what helped me the most. I was walking a lot in the hospital. I even walked the afternoon after my surgery that morning. You'll do awesome! P.S. I'm already down 20 pounds! God is good!
