I just got off the phone with Gina. She had a really bad day. Her IV was leaking and her pain medication began to run out. She got very uncomfortable. The good news is that her Levine tube finally came out today, She passed her lek test although she does have some narrowing of the esophagus. They will continue to watch her closly over the next few days. Her spirits seemed better tonight. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks

Gina, hiya! I believe your sister Pam or a good friend name Pam was just in the chat room saying you were down. I just wanted to let you know it's going to get better. You'll feel alot better once you are out of the hospital. Try and walk as much as you can, as that will help with recovery and gas pains. Take care, JMarie

Gina's doing well. I haven't spoken to her husband today but last night she was in ICU and resting comfortably. Her surgery went a little longer than expected so her belly is a little more achey and her levine tube will have to stay in an extra day. YUK!! Her spirits were great. I'll keep you informed. I just received a call from Gina's sister. She was in the recovery room at 2:45pm and the surgery went great. She was not quite awake yet but her husband will call later with more details. Please keep her in your prayers as we all know that the first few post op days are painful Thanks, Laura

Gina is scheduled for her surgery tomorrow at 9:30 am. We've been best friends since 4th grade. I wish her the best of luck in this new phase of her life. I am her angel an will let you know how she makes out as soon as I'm aware. I'm a recovery room nurse and I wish I could be there to take care of her. May God be with her. Laura

Gina, I'm sure I will be as nervous as you when my surgery date gets near. I will pray you have a safe journey to a healthier new life. We are all here for you!!
