One day after his surgery and the nurse took the phone to his bedside and let me talk to him. He was in a lot of pain and I assured him he would get to feeling better. I was really amazed that he was as alert as he was. I plan on going up to see him tomorrow. I'll post an update tomorrow evening. Keep Scott in your prayers.

Dear Scott: I've been thinking about you, and praying for you all day today. You're such an upbeat and enthusiastic person. I know that you'll do well, in your recovery. The first two weeks are the toughest. I'm here for you, anytime that you need a friend. Welcome to your new life Scott! May it bring you happiness and pleasure. Hey Scott, the count down is on!! Wish it were me but I guess I'll have to "weight" for awhile yet. I'm so excited for you. I know you're nervous but I know you'll do just great! See you on May 1, for support group.

Scott~ Good luck with the whole surgery thingy. I would be a nervous wreck if I were you, but that is just me, so dont be scared...LOL...Will be thinking about you while you are on leave. Keep me posted on how you are doing while you are away! Rubba-Dub-Dub Amanda
