Teresa, take gum! And DO NOT DRINK WATER until the nurses say so! WALK WALK WALK and PRAY! You will do great, I had my surg 11/6 with Dr. Warnock...the nurses have standing orders for ANYTHING you might need, headache, stuffy nose, itchy legs, even hic-ups...be nice to them and they will do anything for you. Get them to write their name on the board in your room...and smile! I was on the 6th floor, Kim was my favorite nurse! Good luck to you, and if you stay at the Hospitality House, ask to use the "rocking patio chair" it really is comfortable!

Teresa, thanks for contacting me since we are sharing the same surgery date and the same insurance company. So many folks think Tricare won't approve this procedure, but my surgeon, Dr. George Cowan in Memphis, said he spent an entire day at his practice battling Tricare in a hearing just so people like you and me could get the help we need. We must definitely keep in touch... Pat
