~*~(From my heart to yours)I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.(unknown author)~*~Hugs~*~

Hi. I am about 4 weeks out and I was talking to my surgeons nurse yesterday. She said that quite a lot of people throw up "foam". It is quite normal while the pouch is healing. Just take it easy, take small bites, and chew really well.

Hi PJ, I had surgery 1/20 and just wanted to let you know that for about the first month I did a lot of the gurggling with liquids. I still do a little now, but not much. Also, I had an episode about a week ago where I was eating chicken and didn't chew a piece good enough. When I swallowed it, it got lodged and I threw up white foamy stuff. I'm not sure how this will help you except to know that someone else has had some of the same experiences. Shelly
