I went to see Jill yesterday after work. She was very sleepy and somewhat nauseated after the nasty salty broth. The only thing that worried me was that she was so sleepy & not up & walking.. but she had mom there with her & she was watching out for her really well. She was supposed to go home today, but I had a feeling she would still be there. I called & mom said that after they gave her the shot for nausea, she slept all afternoon/night... and with not drinking anything, she got dehydrated. So they put her back on an IV to rehydrate her...and today she was doing better & up & around.. So looks like she might get to go home tomorrow. Keep her in your thoughts & will keep you posted. Got to meet her sister too. She is really sweet. She is hoping to have surgery in a couple months, then her hubby a few months after that. Keep her in your thoughts & hopefully she will go home tomorrow. Keep getting better, Jill. Let us know if you need anything.

Hey Everyone! Jill came through surgery just fine. Said they were able to do it lap & took about 1 1/2 hours. She was having some pain, had walked once. Was going to try to get up & walk some more to alleviate the gas pains. Leak test is tomorrow. She sounded great! Her mom is spending the night & I will go see her for a few minutes after work tomorrow evening. Thanks to all that have supported her. Will keep you posted. Jill, good going girl. Get well soon & see ya tomorrow after work!

"If you think you are beaten, you are; If you think you dare not, you don't; If you'd like to win, but think you'll lose, you're lost. For out in the world we find success begins with a person's faith; It's all in the state of mind. Life's battle don't always go to the stronger or faster hand; They go to the one who trusts in God and always thinks ‘I can.’"
