Hi Leslie, I'd say don't be nervous but what's the point? I was nervous too! I always say the week before surgery was worse than the week after (for me anyway). Man, those nerves will get to you. Just stay positive and keep ONLY positive people around you. Truly. The 13th of January is my 7 month anniversay! And I'm down 98 lbs. (maybe 100 by then) Anyway, it was a great decision for me and I'm sure it will be great for you too. The results of this surgery are nothing short of amazing (I'm still in shock). I hope all your weight-loss and good health dreams come true..... Best Wishes,

Leslie, Congratulations and best wishes for a smooth and speedy recovery! Don't forget to take a pillow and/or a Bari Buddy with you to the hospital, you won't be sorry that you did! You need the pillow for all kinds of comforts from coughing to side support and frankly sometimes the hospital pillows just aren't really great. bright blessings to you in this part of the journey and much success too!
