Hello Jessica, I read your profile and want to thank you for your HONESTY! You have come a very long way and accomplished a great deal with the aide of the surgery. I too, had surgery in San Diego on 3-18-03 with Dr. Rumsey. Keep up the good work, don't be so hard on yourself, but don't let yourself off the hook and start exercising. Hi Jessica, I'm sort of new but I was excited to find your profile. It seems like I haven't connected with anyone in my age bracket that has had the surgery. I'm 27, from Mass, 375, BMI 54. My surgery date is scheduled for Nov. 2nd, I've been waiting since April. I'd love to hear some of your experiences, besides tha posts. I've been told I'm so young to be having such a drastic surgery. But 27 years of tourture was enough for me. How has the surgery affected you as a younger person? Have you had plastic surgery, do you think you'll need to? I'd appreciate any insight you could give me. Thanks so much, you look fabulous, keep up the good work!!
