Danine - DO NOT GIVE UP, EVER!!! I read a reply to a question you posted last year, it's appearing on the most recent Q&A page again. So then I went to your profile to see how long it's been since you updated. I can sooooooo relate to living with a man like your fiance. I still live with one...my ex-husband. We stayed married 1-1/2 years and for financial reasons I still live here. He is controlling and if we had a child together he'd be just like your fiance. I know, because I babysat his 9 month old granddaughter last week and did EVERYTHING. After I have my surgery, this man is outta my life for good (oddly enough though, contrary to your fiance, my ex is supportive of surgery). I think a lady named Karen said it best in a reply to you on the Q&A, you don't need this man around you or your daughter. I know it's hard to be a single parent.
