Shirelle. Your last name is what caught my eye. Perkins is my maiden name. I read your profile and it sounded exactly like what I am feeling right now. EXACTLY! My surgery date is 11-12-02 My process has been very easy. I too have thoughts about leaving behind my son, husband, and other members of my family. I am so glad I ran across your page, because it has reminded me that GOD is ultimatly the one running the show. Good luck on your journey. Sherri from Alabama

Shirelle did have an uneventful surgery on yesterday at 12:30. She was very sleepy on yesterday but today I spoke with her and shes feeling fine! Shirelle did pass her leak test and she have started walking. I will be printing her surgery page tommorow and taking it to her at the hospital. Please post all your well wishes as soon as possible because this will brighten her day! WELCOME TO THE OTHER SIDE SHIRELLE* LaShonda

Hello Ms.Shirelle! This is your angel speaking. I hope and pray that your surgery be successful, uneventful and give you all the desired results you are expecting. Remain prayerful and remember to eat your protein, drink water and exercise! I know that fear can set in but remember God has Blessed you with a good surgeon(highly skilled) to perform the surgery and the knowledge to lead you through this. May God be with you as you travel this road to recovery!!! We will be walking together in about 3wks!!!! get some rest!

Hello I just wanted you to know that I am praying for you. I have surgery the same day also at Memorial City at 2:30 with Dr. Naaman too. I'm just as scared and excited as you are. If I don't run into you at the hospital good luck and God Bless.
