congrats to you julie. im so happy to hear you are on the other side now and doing so good. im excited to get my date monday. i finish all my pre-op testing monday the 14 the and i see the surgeon . im hoping he sets my surgery date then. and im praying it is really soon. i am so happy for you. let me rephrase that, im so happy for the new, healthier ahppier you !!! your friend teresa colbert

***Final Angel Report*** Just got word....Julie is home and recovering nicely. She said the gas pain was the worst, but thank God for those DRUGS! Julie, we are all so thrilled for you and your new life, but more because you are on your way to real Health and Happiness Girl! Love....

I spoke to Julie yesterday and she was having a lot of gas pain that was hurting in her chest, she commented that this isn't as easy as everyone says it is! She's walking and eating jello...I hope the pain subsides and she'll get to go home today. I haven't been able to get through to the hospital yet this morning. I had hoped to go down there today, but I've come down with a terrible chest cold and I wouldn't dare spread germs down there. I hope the next update will be from Ms. Julie herself! Love and good thoughts for a speedy and easy recovery sweet lady! Love,

I tried several times to get Julie's room this morning, but no answer. She was down having her "leak test" I guess. I got her husband Freddy on the phone after lunch and he reported that Julie had a rough night...pain and anxiety! He said she was up walking the halls and is still on the morphine pump, so her spirits were HIGH! I know you will join me in keeping Julie in our thoughts and prayers for a quick recovery! ***Angel Report*** I just got home from Holy Cross Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale...I spent the afternoon with Julie and her sweet husband Freddy. She was scheduled for 7:30 AM, but she didn't get to surgery until 11 AM. I got there about 3 and she was still sleepy, but managed to hold a firm grip on the morphine button! She is doing amazingly well and was about to get up for her first stroll when I left around 6:40 PM. I totally expect her to be terrorizing the entire floor by tomorrow! The PJ Party is still on I understand, but that's a Catholic Hospital...so those nuns will keep Julie and all the other WLS patients on their best behavior! Julie really is doing fantastic and I think she's very relieved to be over the worst of it! I'll take the laptop so she can post when I go back up...MORE LATER...this angel has weary wings! As I said earlier, I hope this finds all of you as healthy and happy as Julie is tonight! Love to all....

Julie should be in surgery right now if all went as planned for 7:30 AM surgery time, I will be calling Freddy shortly for an update. I know everyone joins me in good thoughts and prayers for a safe journey to the "other side" for Julie!
