Trish, I think your weight loss is great! Don't beat yourself up. Give yourself hugs and smile, it will happen!!! I am losing slower than most, and I'm exercising and eating small meals. I hardly ever look at the scale, but the clothes keep getting smaller. I still see a heavy person, yet others are always remarking about my success. You have to remember, sometimes we're blind to our achievements. Hang in there and smile, it will work! (HUGS)

I just got off the phone with Trish. She's feeling much better today. She's been up doing laps of the hallway -- go girl go! Her surgeon told her that her surgery went great - no problems. She's looking forward to going home on Friday.......hopefully. (My fingers are crossed for ya Trish!).

I called the hospital early this afternoon and spoke with her husband Ed. They had just brought Trish back to her room from recovery. She was in a considerable amount of pain and the nurses were just beginning to tend to her. The doctor also had not spoken to the family yet but things seemed to have gone well. I'll call back in the morning and see if I can't talk to Trish and get a better update.
