05/08/05 Sara, I've not met you but I feel I know a little bit of who you might be. I am a friend of your mom's. I live in Arizona. I cannot tell you how much I admire what you are doing in the Aids Marathon. Wow. How far we've come! My postop walk has not been an easy one unfortunately. I understand about the whole getting younger thing, much to much. You are fortunate in that you are 30. Socially that is an acceptable age to fit in with 18 years olds..except for the mental difference, yes. But 55 is a tad too old socially to do the things I've done. But hey it's my life and I get to be the one to live it finally right? It's a pleasure to meet you and congratulate you and John, your dad, on this magnificent accomplishment for, in my opinion, the most worthy of causes. Run on Girl!!!

04/20/2005 - Sara ..... I just read your profile update. I have to tell you how very proud of you I am. You have turned into a lovely woman, one that I would be proud to know .. even I weren't your mother. You've come so far in just two short years. I know that the person you have become has been inside all along. With the help of WLS you allowed her to come out and let the world get to know her. It seems the world can't hold you back now and you are bound and determined to run rings around it, literally! Good luck on the marathon. I'll be there to support you in spirit if not physically in person. And if I haven't told you this, you should also know how grateful I am to you for holding my hand through my own WLS experience. Without you I would be stuck in my little corner of the world. Instead you opened the world up for me also. Love, Momma.

I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And frie<nds to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all. (unknown author)FROM MY HEART TO YOU ~*~Hugs~*~

In all things Remember, that the one above loves you, that He holds us all in his loving arms,He knows each of us by name.He said anything you ask for in "my name" will be given to you.So in His name I pray for you, that you be given strength, endurance, love, peace and most of all long life.In Jesus' name. When you wake up and see the faces of your loved ones in the recovery room, know that you have made it.Thank Him,Know that you have been blessed to see and to live out the rest of your days with the ones you love and the ones who love you.....Knowing that He loves you too. Happy soon to be ReBirthday.
