Melinda, best wishes for your surgery next week. I had mine about three months ago in Minneapolis, and I have never had a single regret. Fortunately, the nervousness is over with when you wake up in the recovery room to your new life. I had a similar fear--about "going insane if you can't eat lots of good stuff". But it has never happened--it doesn't work that way, fortunately, at least for me.

Hi Melinda. I just wanted to stop by and wish you well on your upcoming surgery. I hope that you had your questions I saw in your profile answered. It is too bad your insurance company fought you so hard and that you will have to self-pay. I will keep you in my prayers for a successful and uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery.
