Good luck Rachel! Keep positive thoughts and all will go well. It's hard not to get a bit depressed (I know - had my surgery on 2/4), but just keep thinking about how great you will feel when you have to buy new clothes because everyone is afraid you will show your backside when your pants fall off!

Rachel, congratulations on your upcoming surgery. May peace and love surround you on your journey and carry you along safely. Remember to drink your water, take your vitamins, walk daily and most importantly, be gentle with yourself along the way. Lastly, don't forget to stop by occasionally and update your profile. Rachel, Hi my name is Audrey and I live in Vestaburg, Michigan which is over by Alma. I had my surgery 11/13/01 the best thing I have ever done. I could hardly walk, sit, or much of anything else. My leg's hurt me so bad I had to use a cane just to walk, plus many other problem's. No am not in my 30's which to me made it harder to decide to do this. I'm 48 with 2 kid's and 7 wonderful grandkid's and a wonderful husband of 31 year's. I decided I had to do this for myself and no one else, no one live's in your body but you. But your life in GOD'S HAND'S and everything will be just fine,that's what I did. I was not afraid at all, GOD will see you through this. GOOD LUCK with your surgery, and may GOD be with you. Just remember when this is all over you will wonder why you waited so long to do this. Good Luck
