Good MORNING - and a Happy ONE YEAR Re-birthday to you!!! I know I'm a little early, but better early than never! I found this quote and just love it! When running up a hill, it’s alright to give up as many times as you wish – as long as your feet keep moving. By - Shoma Morita M.D. I can only imagine that your experience has been wonderful. Full of changes and new experiences. Congratulations to YOU!!! If you have an opportunity and/or haven’t already, please stop by and update your profile! We’d all love to know how well you’ve progressed!!! If you have a few moments, please take the time to send well wishes to your fellow “re-birthday” buddies!!! It’s a great boost to them as well as yourself. Have a FANTASTIC DAY! RNY 10/31/03 257/133 at GOAL!!!

Keisha, Wishing you a good weightloss journey. Dr. Hixon was great. His new assistant was at my bed in the hospital and was able to give me extra comfort. I hope you get the good room I had with a view and no helicopter pad and a great male nurse who can solve problems quickly and easier than the other nurses there. In other words I wish you the best of everything.

I am wishing you all the best on your upcoming surgery. I will keep you in my prayers for an uneventful surgery and recovery. If you ever need someone to talk to or just vent and ask questions, just know I am just an email away. Adrienne

Greetings, Keisha! I just read your last post and felt sorry that you were feeling DEPRESSED about such a JOYOUS Opportunity! I'm SORRY for your "Drama"!! I just want to say the FRIENDSHIP... TRUE Friendship and LOVE is ... UNConditional. If your So called Friends/Family are making negative comments on what could be a Life-Saving (Definately a Life ALTERING) thing for YOU... then perhaps you should RE-Evaluate WHO you consider your Family/FRIEND(s)! Right now you NEED as much OVERStanding and Encouragement AND LOVE as possible. Let the "Nay sayers" say what they want.... and perhaps you should NOT SAY anything (WLS related) to them Right now... obviously they can NOT handle it--or Perhaps are even envious. JUST DO YOU!!! And you'll be happier and LESS depressed for it. I'm sure you and your son will find WLS is TRULY a Blessing NOT to take for Granted!! Find PEACE .... Blessings!
