Hi Karyn, I am about 3 months post op from Alvarado Hospital and can tell you that these folks do know what they are doing. I wish you the best of luck with your surgery and post op. Just follow the eating plan and you will be successful. Keep a positive attitude. It works wonders on you and your caregivers. I live in Glendale, not too far from Lawndale. Write me if you like. Karyn, Just wanted to say hi and the best of luck I too had my surgery at Alvarado 6 months ago and have lost 116lbs and 10 dress sizes!!!!!!!! During this time i have decided to open a bed and breakfast for bariatric patients in san diego for people that come in from out of town. As i am a former patient a nd a nurse. I have converted my duplex into the bed and breakfast with all needs for the baratric patients.. As i live next door I am always close.
