Angel Update---I spoke to the nurse in MICU today and she told me Patricia was doing wonderful!! They were on their way up to her room. I called Patricia up in her room later this evening and she was sounding great! Not one bit groggy and wasn't using her morphine she said she realy didn't feel as if she needed it! I am so proud of her she is doing sooo well. Can you believe she said, " It feels like everyone said it would---like you did alot of situps."! I only hope and pray that I have it so easy! Cecelia

THIS IS AN ANGEL CHECKING IN!!! I called the hospital this am and Patricia's very loving husband came to the phone and told me they took her in late and she had only been gone 15mins. I called back about 3 hrs later and he told me she was doing okay but she was still in surgery. So I told him I wouldn't bother him anymore and that when I got off work I would just go to the hospital. He told me that she would be on the 5th floor where she used to work and they would be able to tell me what room she was in. I called before I went and they told me room 545. When I got there, she wasn't in that room. The nurse told me she was in MICU--she didn't know if there had been a problem, she just looked in the computer because she was expecting her. I went to MICU and she was there resting very very well! She opened her eyes for a minute and said hey they went back to sleep. Dr Dewitt came in and he told me there was nothing wrong, she just had a very long surgery due to alot of adhesions and he just wanted her to get some extra attention because she had such a long day. She will be just fine --they are gonna try to get her walking tomorrow. He asked her if she was feeling any pain and she said no. Good thing. All her vital statistics looked good. And now we are looking forward to a "new and improved" Patricia. Cecelia

Well girlfriend, I have been thinking about you all day. I see by your last post that you did have to do the citrate---thank God you called. I know that everything will work out just great and your family will understand when they see how much healthier and happier you are when it's all said and done. Well, I'll see you tomorrow. A new you! CC
