Dear Linda: Been thinking a lot about you sweetie and after reading your other e-mails I'm so very glad for the support and good wishes from your other friends. We've been friends for over 38 years, "through thin and thick and now thin again" is that scary or what? Hope your recovery is quick and painless and will touch base with you soon. By the way, having a little brunch at my place on January 20 and you are more than welcome. Well, anyway I'll have a mimosa in your honor. Best wishes and hope to speak with you soon sweetie. Wish I was there to play a little scrabble with you and your being on drugs maybe I have a better chance of holding my own. Love you lots - Karen

Linda so happy to see your post that you are home and doing well. I live in the same area and hve my first appointment with Dr. C on 2/22/02. I look forward to reading about ypur progress. And I wish you the best .

Linda, I was so happy to read you are home and that you are doing well! Make sure you get enough rest and walk and drink water in between. TRY to get in your protein also as soon as you can. Also, it helps to do some DEEP breathing exercises...helps keep your lungs healthy and clear.

********ANGEL ON DUTY******** I have a report on Linda. Yea!!!!! We made it!!! We are now on the down side (scale wise that is)!!! I just spoke with Linda on the phone at the hospital and she sounds "Maahvelous"!!!! She's drinking liquids and popsicles already. She loves the Staff as they are taking wonderful care of her. She said she is very impressed with both Dr Caruana & the staff as a whole. I'm sooo pleased that all is going so well for her so soon!!! I was going to visit her today but I am coming down with "flu like symptoms"!! So it's better for me not to visit. We will set up a better time during her re- couperation and on one of my days off to meet for a cup of tea!!! Love your spirit Linda. Remember to walk walk walk, & drink drink drink and dream thin healthy dreams. Welcome to the "other" side. God Bless you sweetie. We'll talk again real soon. Love ya!!!
