Hi Elaine I could have cried with the wish-bone story. I loved it. I am so happy for you. I felt like I was a slow loser too but had to tell myself not to compare. I think you are doing great. Good luck with the last lbs.

Spoke to Elaine this evening and she is home. Doing pretty well, sounds very tired. Tried to wean herself off the pain meds but... ah ha... a little too early, she took some. Hopefully she can rest well tonight.

Glad to hear you came through it with flying colors. I know the pain is a bit rough but it will get better. Hang in there!

8:20 p.m. EST - I saw Elaine early this afternoon and she was in quite a bit of pain. Normal pain though, nothing unusual. She is tolerating sips of water very well. She was walking this evening and faring pretty well. She is off morphine but is taking some pain meds. The prayers are working well folks! Thanks. Ann

It's 9:30 p.m. and I've just spoken to Elaine's sister. She's doing very well. She was up and walking around this evening... not by choice I'm sure LOL!

It's 12:44 p.m. and we have just heard from Elaine's husband and her surgery went well, 2 1/2 hours. I will be getting another update tonight and will post. I will be seeing her in the hospital tomorrow, so will have a better idea of how she's really doing! Thanks for the prayers... they are working so far! Yeehaw! Go Elaine!!!
