Hey girl! What you are enduring is normal. I had the slight nausea stuff on and off for a while. I got depressed, too. I am now almost 4 months post-op and everything has come together. In fact, after about 8 weeks, I was doing better, both physically and mentally. Email some of the post-ops if you need to ask questions, or use the question board. There are great resources here, plus a lot of shoulders to support you. You are going to do just fine. Wait until you try on a pair of pants that were too tight, and you realize you can't wear them- because they are too big!! Lots of Hugs, Nita

Hang in there, Barbara....it will get better! I'm a pre-op, so I don't have any magic words of wisdom, but I wanted to wish you well. I hope you are feeling better SOON! Keep your chin up and your spirits high...you'll get through this tough spell and it will all be worth it in the end. Happy holidays and happy losing!!

Barbara ... Don't let doubt and fear take over at this time! Think of the end result. Think of the plans you have to bike and hike with your family. What a difference you will see quickly and you will be so glad you did not turn back! I will keep you in my prayers. Post Op patient of 3 months and NEVER regret one day that I made this choice.
