Barbara; Good luck on your surgery on Thursday... we are "twinkies" as I will be having my surgery the same day. I had my consult with the surgeon last Friday, did all my pre-op stuff that day... was originally given a date of August 1st (I go to school full-time, so was trying to get in early)... Anyway... it got moved up. Are you nervous? I am... even with all the preparation I have done! Take care and see you on the lighter side!

Barbara, just a well-wisher here for your upcoming surgery. Dr. Leitman was my surgeon as well for my Open RNY which was less than 3 weeks ago and he is wonderful! I think it is quite typical to be emotional right now, I know I was. Believe in yourself, your decision and your commitment to change your life by using this surgery as a wonderful tool to help you acheive your goals and realize your dreams. You will do great and I will be thinking of you. Just wanted to wish you luck on your upcoming surgery. I had Dr. Leitman for my surgery almost a year ago and he is wonderful!!!
