I just got off the phone with Criss and today she is doing pretty good. They were having trouble stablizing her blood pressure but that is good now, but her oxygen wants to be a pain in the butt. All in all, surgery took 45 minutes and the Dr. said things went just fine. But they are expecting to keep her for another 4 days. She got to do liquids today, Chicken broth and crystal lite...she said 3 teaspoons of broth did her in. She is truly amazed! Man i remember those days! I will keep you all posted on her, i'll be checking on her daily!

Hi Christina, My husband said something similar to me about not wanting to talk about it so much and I found out it was because he was afraid of the possible risks (death). He was trying to deal with it by not thinking about it. It wasn't until I was having trouble with my mom having this issue that he admitted to me that he was scared too. We talked about it and he is now 250% in support of the operation and understands the risk of surgery isn't any greater than the risks of being this heavy, it's just more immediate. Good luck, be patient, if he loves you, he will work it out. Julia

So just remember you will be kinda out of things for several hrs. and when you do fianlly come fully awake maybe he will be the 1st face you see! God bless. Jamie
