Hello Cheryl - Congratulations, how excited you must be right now? After all the months of waiting, researching, healing, etc, to finally be able to see the "results" on the scales is nothing short of fantastic. I've been through it myself and I know it's a long and hard journey but I also know the rewards more then outweigh the obstacles. When the weight finally starts to come off you regain a new and wonderful sense of freedom. It puts all the challenges along the way into perspective and you realize with each pound you've lost, inner strength was regained. <b>ENJOY</b> all the "special moments" along the way, big or small, you've more then earned it!!   <i> "The key to happiness is dreams, the key to success is making those dreams come true"</i> .....Hugs and Smiles : )

Hi Cheryl, what a FANTASTIC weight loss, and in just a little over six months!!! I don't know what to say about your insurance issues, but I will pray that things turn out OK for you. BIGGHUGGZZZZ

Cheryl - You are alone in your feelings. I am one week away from my six month anniversary. I'm 4 lbs. shy of a 100 lb. loss. I still see the fat girl in the mirror. I can't believe that a size 14 will fit me. I don't believe it until I try it on and instead of being excited, I feel somewhere in the back of my mind, that it too will be taken away from me (like all the times before). Yesterday I was so down. Today I feel better. I think there are hormone and chemical issues with losing the weight quickly. It definitely does something to the mind. I take Paxil and thank goodness it keeps me on an even keel. Please don't feel you are alone. We love you! Hugs.

Hi Cheryl, I hope you're feeling a little better since your post. I know you're feeling badly but it sounds like your heads on straight and you're recognizing your own problems. It's not uncommon to suffer from depression after a major surgery and you've had TWO in the last six months!! I would mention it to your Dr. maybe he will give you something to get you over this bump in your road. Please let us know how things are going. You know that we are all here to provide whatever support is needed. BIGGHUGGZZZZ

Congratulations on your victory in the face of adversity, Cheryl! I know from reading your profile page that this is no small thing for you. It must be such a joy to notice your weight loss and your progress on "issues" you say contributed to your weight before surgery. A big honk on the car horn for you!!!
