My prayers and thoughts will be with you... I had Lap RNY on 1/12/04 and I was suprized how quickly I healed.... Walk 4 hrs after surgery and walk as much as possible. Lissa, Congratulations and best wishes for a smooth and speedy recovery! Don't forget to take a pillow and/or a Bari Buddy with you to the hospital, you won't be sorry that you did! You need the pillow for all kinds of comforts from coughing to side support and frankly sometimes the hospital pillows just aren't really great. Also inquire with the hospital about whether a fan will be available to you, if not and permitted, take one with you. The combination of the narcotics and the leg cuffs they use to prevent clots makes many people very very hot! bright blessings to you in this part of the journey and much success too!~Caroline O.--About Me
