Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side. The trumpets are blaring, the cymbals are crashing and the drums are drumming – all for YOU! I hope that all went well for you! You’ve been out of surgery now for a little over a month – YIPPIE!!! Your journey will have moments to “pause” – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)… RNY 10/31/03 – down 87 pounds!!! Good luck!

Holding you in prayer, I know that everything will be taken care of. Hope that you checked out the Vitalady info and have all your ducks in a row, part of the healing process includes being prepared so you don't have think about anything but getting stronger and thinner :) Take care. Hi April, I'd say don't be nervous, but heck, I was! Of course it was all for nothing (except I burned a few more calories) because my surgery was fine. I always say the week before surgery was harder than the week after, at least it was for me. Keep it positive and that means having only positive people around you. Best wishes and I hope all your weight-loss dreams come true.

You are about to embark on a journey that will change your life forever. It will be the single most positive thing you can do for yourself and your family. I discovered that for myself. I'm so glad I did this. I pray for a speedy and easy recovery for you. Know that you can always come to your AMOS family with questions and concerns and we will help.
