Thank you for your quick response to my question yeserday. Congradulations on your success. My daughter had her Open RNY April 23rd and she is doing very well. We have an extremly cautious surgeon who cares very much. I was upset yesterday about the insulin, but it will be okay. I may not be able to have an open rny, as I had a vbg in 88, he told me yesterday there may not be a way to pull the bowel up for the rny, so I wont know untill i wake up in recovery. Only 4 more days. Thank you Carolyn Gill

Diana, Thanks for sharing you comments. It is very encouraging to hear so many success stories. I've not been able to find anything about recovery time or time away from work for the lap. surgery. any information you could share with me on this would also be much appreciated.' Susan
