low hemoglobin

So tonight at school i got to go volunteer at the lab for vital signs, finger sticks, blood taken and more.. woo hoo! Well it always isn't fun but whats great about it is being a rny patient its nice to be able to have somethings tested... Such as tonight... I found out my hemoglobin level was 8.6 hmmmm pretty low so tomorrow I'll be calling my surgeons to see what dosage I should take... My hemoglobin was always good so they wanted to wait to see if i would need an iron pill... No big deal... i won't let that get me down!!! haha I'm a trooper!On another note.. lol I had 2 girls ask me my weight for their log for vital signs (guess they felt bad and didn't want to ask me to get on the scale.. lol they don't know bout my surgery) and I tell them 292lbs... well about an hour later I thought I would get on the scale just to see.. I was bored... So then I realized I had been giving them my weight from like a month ago... LMAO!!! I'm really 272lbs..
Its so crazy... i guess since its coming off fast i have to stop and process what i actually am.. Oh well its either that or I'm just tired!
Work + School = me very tired!!!
