Hey Erica! Less than 36 hours and counting! I never thought that this day would come. How are you holding up? I haven't been cutting back on my smoking. I am afraid that I will wake up on a ventilator! My mother and I went to Walmart tonight to pick up some last minute items. I never thought that I would be buying baby food for myself..lol Plus, I was looking at the "skinny" clothes. I can't wait for the day when I can buy something besides a 30/32 and buy something that buttons instead of an elastic waist!! WOOHOO! Once we are feeling better, we have to meet each other! I plan on seeing you while I am in the hospital. We need all of the support that we can get. I tried to email you my phone and it came back "undeliverable" We need to keep in touch! If I don't get a chance to "talk" to you before Monday, GOOD LUCK! And, I will keep you in my prayers!

Hi Erica, You are on your way!! I know this is a scary and exciting time for you. You are going to do just fine!!! Just think, You are starting a journey that only a few travel. You should be very proud of yourself. I am proud of you!!!! Think of some of the new things you will be able to do like take a long bike ride, get on a amusement park ride and not worry if you will fit in the seat, cross your legs and the best of all have the energy to do these things!!! Everything will be just fine and know you have a wonderful group of people here to help you meet your needs. The best of luck on your surgery with a speedy and healthy recovery!! I am so lucky to have someone to go thru this with! Well, 2 days and counting! I don't know about you, but I am getting tired of food! lol I have never eaten so much as I have this weekend. If I don't have a chance to talk to you again before Monday, I will make sure and check on you while we are in the hospital. I would definitely recommend going to the support group. It is nice to see that other people are going thru the same emotions as you are. Plus, it is nice to see people at different stages of weight loss. See you soon!! :)

I hope that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I sure did...I ate so much that I wanted to puke! lol I have heard wonderful things about Dr Long also. I went to the support group this month and several of his patients were there. They said nothing but wonderful things! I don't have to do any bowel prep...thank goodness! Do you? Dr Davenport said that she doesn't require bowel prep. She just suggested that I eat a light supper on Sunday. This is so I won't have to go to the bathroom on Monday. Are you as nervous as I am? One minute, I am so excited that I can hardly stand myself, and the next minute, I am nervous. I keep wondering if everything will be OK. I can't believe that we only have a couple of days left! Talk to ya soon!
