Frances, I just wanted to tell you that you have been an inspiration to me. I am almost two weeks post op. You were the first profile I ever read when I was deciding to have the surgery, and I loved reading your progress, and your new adventures with weight loss. I am so glad you are wearing size 8's! That is truly awesome. Keep up the good work, and thank you again for keeping us posted on your progress! Sierra

Best Wishes for a successful surgery and smooth recovery! Weigh to go! I just read another post from someone who just had surgery and the thing that hurts the most is their BACK. And it is PAINFUL, not just uncomfortable. THE LAST THING YOU NEED TO TELL YOUR SURGEON, BEFORE THEY PUT YOU UNDER, IS TO PUT SOMETHING UNDER YOUR KNEES TO TAKE THE PRESSURE OFF YOUR BACK!!! Time and time again folks are coming out of the O.R. and their back is killing them. It’s because you are lying flat on your back for hours on a hard surface. How long can you do that now? If the surgeon will just put a rolled up blanket under your knees this problem will be eliminated! Got It?... Good…. Problem solved. (Or at least talk it over with him/her).
